At DataBack, our service has always been about ease-of-use.  So as new features are added, they need to also continue to be easy to understand and use. We believe V2 is a big step in that direction. Below are just a few of the features you will find in our new V2 interface. Pricing for lists over 10,000 is only $6 per thousand per month for unlimited mailings.

Easy Message Creation

Use the simple WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) editor to create stunning emails without HTML or programming experience. Add images, link to specific pages, and more! Already have your newsletter layout? You can upload or fetch (URL) HTML from an existing web page to use for your campaign.

The HTML campaign creation process is a step-by-step process where V2 will assist you with finding the right type of campaign, showing you all the options, and allowing you to send test emails, preview the campaign, and more before you save or schedule the campaign.

Preview Your Email In All The Major Email Clients

With our Inbox Preview feature, you can quickly view your email as it will be displayed in the major email clients.

While there are many services that offer email preview for testing your designs they typically only show you an image of what your design would look like.  You are then left to try to figure out why your design is off in any particular email client.

Instead our Inbox Preview feature tells you exactly what the problems are.  It even goes as far to show the code that is causing the issue!  This makes it easy to find and correct any design issues.

Check Your Email Against Spam Filters

A simple one click spam check option is available before you send your mailing. Clicking on "check spam filters" sends your message through the popular SpamAssasin filters. You will then see a box with your spam count and a detailed break down of every item causing it. You can then adjust your mailing as needed to improve your spam count.

Automatic Click & Open Tracking

With each campaign you can choose to track links and reads/opens. V2 can automatically detect and track all the links in your mailing – or – you can specify only certain links that you wish to track. Other options allow you to enable or disable read/open tracking for your campaigns. You can even enable Google Analytics tracking!

Custom Subscriber Fields

Include any number of optional fields such as text fields, text boxes, check boxes, radio buttons, and drop downs on your subscription form. Then personalize your mailings with that information or use field values to create sending filters.

List Segmenting

Create list segments for targeted campaigns. For example, you could create a segment for people in a certain age range and location, or for those who live in a specific country or speak a certain language.

You can even create segments based on previous actions of a subscriber, such as creating a segment for all subscribers who clicked on a particular link in the past or those who have not opened a previous campaign.

Conditional Content

Within a single campaign you can create dynamic content that will only show for subscribers who match certain conditions. For example, you can have a campaign that shows different products depending on gender or age – or – show or hide extra content depending on if the subscriber matches a set of conditions.

Autoresponders

Setup any number of autoresponders. Have certain mailings be sent after a subscriber subscribes and then additional campaigns at timed intervals (such as 24 hours later, 2 months after that, etc..) Even target these mailings to certain demographics or subscriber details.

Split Testing Your Emails

Split testing is an important part of any solid marketing plan. Send multiple versions of a message (such as different subject, different content, etc.) and analyze the results to determine what has the best read and click rate.

DataBack V2 can even determine the winning email/subject for you automatically and send the remaining subscribers the winning campaign. Example: Send 2 different messages to 20% of your list. After a set number of days (that you specify) V2 will determine the best message based on open or click rates and send the winning message to the remaining 80% of subscribers!

Subscription Forms

Generate custom subscription forms for your website. Embed the generated form into any page of your website and set the URL's for redirection, including success URL, error URL, awaiting opt-in URL and more.

The user never leaves your design and you have total control over the user experience!

The generated subscription form code is basic HTML that can be embedded into any type of website.

Public Message Archive

Direct users to a public archive of all your past mailings. Let them view past mailings, subscribe to lists, and more. This feature can be disabled if you would like your past messages to be private.

External Database Sync

Synchronize your subscribers with any external MySQL, MSSQL, or PostgreSQL database! Simply select a database, navigate to the table of choice, select the fields to sync, set your sync options and click Run! It has never been easier to bring subscribers from an outside source into your email marketing software and to keep your lists updated from that source. You can even have your syncs run automatically – such as daily or hourly!
